Transportation
At Amana Academy, there are a variety or ways to get your student to and from school.
The majority of our families transport their students to and from school by car, see Regular Carpool below for more information. For those interested in riding the bus, Amana provides 2 buses. Ridership is lottery based, see Amana Bus below for details on this Lottery.
Some of our families arrange private transportation for their students through day care centers and private van lines, while Amana does not vet these services and cannot offer recommendations, we provide contact information for services our families have used recently under Private Shuttles & Vans below.
For those that need a delayed pick-up time, Amana also provides a fee-based After School Enrchment Program.

Amana Bus
While not required of start-up charter schools, we believe it is important that we make available bus service to our families for a number of reasons including student safety, reduced impact on the environment, better management of carpool, and less stress on families.
For those interested in riding the school bus, Amana provides 2 buses, ridership is based on annual lottery (see below). Each bus stops at 2 convenient locations in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. Parents/Guardians transport their students to one of these locations to catch the bus.
BUS LOTTERY: Because we receive many more requests each year than we are able to accommodate, we conduct a bus lottery annually. The lottery is held at the end of each school year to determine ridership for the upcoming year.
The 2024-25 Bus Lottery is now closed.
The deadline for submitting applications was Wednesday, May 22, 2024. To submit a request to be added to the waiting list for the upcoming year click here:
