Kano program debuts in Alpharetta

An Alpharetta charter school is one of the first in the nation to use the new Kano program, designed in the United Kingdom, that allows students to build, and then code, their own computers.
The computers come in kits and are assembled in a manner similar to Legos, the ubiquitous plastic bricks.
Here, Ehab Jaleel, executive director of Amana Academy, the Alpharetta charter school that is part of the pilot program, explains how and why the school was chosen for Kano.
