Edward Zacarias Amaya

My mom is from Honduras and my dad is from Mexico. I haven’t visited yet. I have family here in the United States, like aunts and uncles and cousins. I also have an uncle from El Salvador. In our culture, we celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving, and some other holidays. During Christmas we get together and open up gifts. We eat turkey, arroz, and arroz con leche. We also take breaks and vacations from work. Some of my favorite foods that I really like are tacos, tacos al pastor, quesadillas, enchiladas, and stuff like that. From Honduras, I really like caldo de res, pollo asado, and carne asada. That’s actually stuff Mexicans and Hondurans eat.
