Pillar Clubs are our signature, institutionalized teams/clubs. They often attend competitions and engage with the broader Community beyond Amana!

Passion Clubs range from start-up clubs from faculty members to clubs led by passionate student leaders alongside a faculty sponsor!

Music Crew is a year-round choir club where voices come together to celebrate unity, culture, and creativity! Through singing, performing, and exploring music from around the world, students will learn to embrace differences, build confidence, and share their talents with the school community. Everyone has a place in the music–come add your voice!
Reading Bowl 6-8th grade – Until January 2027
A reading competition created by Georgia Educators to encourage students to read. Students will have the opportunity to develop the joy for reading and getting exposed to books of literary excellence.
Teams of Tomorrow – Spring 2026
Teams of Tomorrow (aka TOT) is a pre-school ballhandling and enrichment skills program for students ages 3-5 years old. In addition to athletics, it embraces academics and agility! It is music and movement-driven and founded by teachers on brain-based researched! It allows kids to build their fine and gross motor skills as they “learn to move, and move to learn!”
Georgia United Nations Assembly (GUNA) is a simulation designed to educate students about civics, communication, globalization, and multilateral diplomacy. In this competition, students assume the roles of ambassadors and engage in a mock session of an intergovernmental organization. They research a country, explore international issues, debate, deliberate, and devise solutions to global challenges. Throughout the simulation, participants must use a range of communication and critical thinking skills to effectively advocate for and advance their assigned country’s policies.Â
Code Club is a global network of coding clubs where young people develop skills and confidence to become digital tech creators. It’s part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation — a UK-based charity with the mission to enable young people to realize their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.Â
Middle school track and field club is an after-school club where students train, learn, and compete in a variety of running events. It introduces athletes to the basics of sprinting, distance running, relays, and more. Students will build fitness, confidence, and teamwork skills. They learn discipline, set goals, and discover their strengths while staying active in a supportive environment. It’s a positive way for students to grow both athletically and personally.Â
Performing Arts is an elementary and middle school opportunity where students will have the opportunity to explore the exciting world of theater.
Whether you’re a budding actor, curious about behind-the-scenes work, or simply love storytelling, Drama Club offers something for everyone. From performing short skits to full productions, students will work together to bring characters and stories to life. With a focus on building performance skills, empathy, and stage presence, this club is the perfect place to make friends, boost self-esteem, and discover the magic of the performing arts. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!

Crochet Amigurumi Club
Amigurumi is the art of crocheting small stuffed yarn creatures or objects creating cute whimsical toys often called “plushies” or “stuffed dolls”. Students will learn to read basic crochet patterns while building fine motor skills and improving cognitive function (focus and memory). Students will take home all of their creations as well as all supplies at the end of the semester to continue with their newly acquired skill and hobby.
Gardening Club gives students opportunities to learn about plants, sustainability, food production, environmental stewardship, and hands-on gardening.
Amana X is a club where big ideas, creativity, and student voices take center stage. Students will explore topics they care about, develop original ideas, and learn how to communicate those ideas through engaging talks and presentations.
Through Amana X, students will build confidence in public speaking, storytelling, critical thinking, and leadership while learning how to turn their experiences and perspectives into ideas worth sharing. The club will culminate in an Amana X showcase where students have the opportunity to share their ideas with the school community.

Film Club is a fun place to learn how movies are made. You’ll work with a team to write a script, direct scenes, and film your own short movie. Along the way, you’ll learn basic filmmaking skills and get creative with your ideas. At the end of the club, you’ll share your finished film with the class. No experience is needed—just bring your imagination!
Get ready to build, create, experiment, and solve! Elementary STEM Club gives students in grades K–5 the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on challenges and creative projects. Students will work together, think like engineers, and use their imagination to design solutions to fun, real-world problems
DIY CLUB (Arduino Code/Builds)
Build it. Code it. Make it work! In DIY Club, students will explore Arduino programming, electronics, and hands-on building as they create their own interactive projects. From lights and sensors to creative gadgets and inventions, students will learn through experimentation, problem-solving, and plenty of making.
Need a little extra help with homework? Homework Helpers is a welcoming space where students can work on assignments, ask questions, stay organized, and build confidence in their schoolwork. Come get support, get things done, and leave feeling ready for tomorrow!
