Lake Lanier Aquatic Study:

Students will test water quality and examine the spread of drinkable water around the world, all in a floating classroom.

Tellus Science Museum (Organizing Organisms):

The Organizing Organisms program at Tellus Science Museum offers a 2-hour experience that includes a gallery tour and a hands-on lab focused on how fossils are formed.

Johns Creek Sewage Plant:

Students will tour the sewage plant and learn how water is treated and converted into potable water.

ALIF Institute:

Students will garner an undertsanding and appreciation of Ismalic culture enhancing their studies of the Middle East.

Tellus Science Museum (Run Water Run):

Students will explore how water shapes both nature and the human body through hands-on activities. They’ll discover water’s power to build and erode landforms, its role in Georgia’s geological history, and its essential function in life on Earth.

Georgia Aquarium:

Students participate in a “Behind the Scenes” tour to learn how water pollution affects the marine envioronment.

Elachee Nature Center:

Students explore how plants and animals use structural and behavioral adaptations to interact with their habitats.

In Creature Feature, students explore how environmental factors impact wildlife through encounters with protected species and will participate in a population game.

    Students gain an understanding plastic pollution both on land and in water through practical activities.

    Students learn about African-American history with storytelling and exhibits on adversity, innovation, and contributions of Black leaders.
