Janée Brown

Janée Brown is excited to join the 6th grade science team at Amana Academy’s North campus in Alpharetta, GA. With over ten years in education and more than five years of classroom teaching experience, she brings a strong background in math and science. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from South Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Middle Level Math and Science from Georgia State University. Janée is passionate about making STEAM learning engaging, hands-on, and accessible for all students. After a two-year break from the classroom, she is re-energized and ready to inspire young scientists through inquiry and exploration. In her free time, Janée enjoys running, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
