Emerald Torres

Emerald Torres is a dedicated educator returning to 3rd grade this year, bringing a rich background in both general and special education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Valdosta State University. Emerald began her teaching career in general education, where she spent two years fostering strong foundational skills in reading and math with 3rd-grade students. For the past two years, she has specialized in special education, creating individualized learning plans, collaborating with families and colleagues, and empowering students to overcome challenges and build confidence.

Passionate about making learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible, Emerald believes that strong relationships are key to student success. She is committed to partnering with families to support every child’s growth and achievement throughout the school year.
