Stephanie Mortimore

Stephanie Mortimore is elated to be joining the second grade team at Amana Academy North. She has been teaching in Metro Atlanta elementary schools since 2022, and prior to that, was teaching within Georgia’s early childhood education system. She has a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University and a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia. Stephanie believes that children can learn anything when given the correct tools and the opportunity to grow, paired with a teacher who values them as an individual. Outside of school, she enjoys camping, fishing, reading, and being with her husband Nick, her daughter Kairi (14), her son Ryan (10), and her son Luke (2). She looks forward to building bonds with her students and bringing her fun enthusiasm to second grade!
