Jaweria Sahaf

Jaweria Sahaf is an experienced elementary educator with over 16 years of teaching experience in diverse classroom settings. Prior to joining Amana Academy, she taught across grades K–5, creating engaging, student-centered learning environments that support both academic and social-emotional growth. Jaweria’s teaching is guided by IB PYP principles, with a strong focus on inquiry-based and project-based learning that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and real-world connections. She is a certified Montessorian and IB PYP educator and is passionate about building strong foundations while meeting the needs of all learners through differentiated instruction. Jaweria believes that every child has the potential to succeed and is committed to helping students grow into confident, independent thinkers. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and continuing to explore new ideas and strategies to enhance her teaching practice.
