Due to the unique opportunity for families to experience the eclipse together, Monday, April 8th will be an Early Release Day for all Amana Students. We will follow our typical “Friday” early release schedule with dismissal starting at 1:00pm on Monday, April 8th.

• Teachers will provide a safety briefing on eclipse viewing prior to Spring Break
• Amana (all FCS) is offering an Excused Absence for any students who are absent. Please submit a planned absence note here.
• All students present will be provided safety glasses suitable for viewing the eclipse upon dismissal at 1:00pm.

We hope you make plans to enjoy this rare event. Other school systems and some schools have adjusted to make this a totally virtual learning day for students to remain at home. So far Fulton County Schools will have an in person school day. And Amana will implement the Early Release.
