Amana Students Shine as Ambassadors at EL Education’s National Conference in Atlanta
Students from both Amana West and Amana North had the opportunity to serve as ambassadors the EL Education National Conference that took place in Atlanta on December 4th and 5th. Together they greeted conference goers for the opening plenary and later shared their expedition work in the Exploration Hall. They were poised and confident as they spoke to conference goers about everything from finding solutions for deforestation to building mobile apps to help people in need find shelter and resources. During a break in the activities they got to walk to lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy some down time. It was fun seeing them interact with their peers from their sister school that still has the same routines and traditions. At the end of the day, students and chaperones circled up and did the Amana chant before boarding the bus back to school. They were all shining stars and represented Amana well. Go Eagles!!
