Amana Educators Push Themselves on Outward Bound Leader Course

Several weeks ago, three of our education leaders participated in a 3-day Education Leader Course with North Carolina Outward Bound School. The ELEducation model is rooted in the Outward Bound ethos of building skills like perseverance, courage, respect, collaboration, and compassion – working together to learn there’s more in us than we know. Mr. Jaleel, Ms. Suen, and Ms. Carson participated in activities like orienteering, rock climbing, rappelling and wilderness camping – testing their limits and growing stronger together.
