On Friday, April 17, volunteers from Delta Airlines and the Captain Planet Foundation joined students during their STEM classes to celebrate Earth Day by planting veggies in our learning garden and reading stories about environmental stewardship and responsibility.  Students had a chance to try some lettuce with salad dressing that they helped prepare.  

We are so grateful for our partnership with Delta and Captain planet – it has made our dream of having a learning garden at Amana West a reality, and we look forward to many more opportunities to partner in the future!
