Process of Applying to Attend Amana Academy<\/span><\/h2>\r\n

We're so excited that you're interested in attending Amana Academy! <\/span>We have 5 steps in our application process. Please read the steps carefully.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>","bg_color":"white-bg"},{"acf_fc_layout":"left_image_right_text","image":1787,"text":"

1. Pre-Enrollment Form<\/h3>\r\n

Fill out the Pre-Enrollment Form<\/strong><\/a> to qualify for our lottery.\u00a0\u00a0The form for the 2026-2027 school year will go live at midnight on January 1, 2026.\u00a0 Open enrollment for the the 2025-2026 school year is January 1, 2026 - January 31, 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

2. Lottery<\/h3>\r\n

If a lottery is necessary for the 2026-2027 school year, it will take place on February 6, 2026. If you filled out the Pre-Enrollment Form on or before January 31, your student's name will be added to the lottery. If you submit your application after January 31, your name will be added to the waitlist in the order in which your application was received. At that point, if any seats remain unfilled, OR if selected parents choose to withdraw their student's name from attendance, we will reach out to parents on the waitlist in the order of when they submitted their Pre-Enrollment Form.<\/p>","image":1755,"bg_color":"blue-bg"},{"acf_fc_layout":"left_image_right_text","image":1789,"text":"

3. Acceptance<\/h3>\r\n

After the lottery is complete, you will have 3 days to accept your student's seat for the 2026-2027 year. It's crucial that you send in your acceptance before the deadline given. if we do not hear back from you in that time frame, we will need to honor our lottery process and extend an offer to the next parent on our waitlist. Once you accept the offer, you will have\u00a0<\/span>5 business days<\/strong>\u00a0from that date to hand in the paperwork.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Again, if the 5 business days deadline is not met, the offer will expire.<\/strong><\/p>","bg_color":"yellow-bg"},{"acf_fc_layout":"left_text_right_image","text":"

4. Checklist of Documents<\/h3>\r\n

Once you have accepted your seat at Amana Academy West Atlanta (woohoo!), the below checklist of documents will need to be turned into the school.<\/p>\r\n

    \r\n\t
  • Birth certificate<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Copy of the student\u2019s Social Security card\/number <\/span>(A parent or guardian who objects to the incorporation of the social security number into the school records of a child may have the requirement waived by signing a statement objecting to the requirement)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Certificate of Immunization (Georgia Form 3231)<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Hearing, Dental, Vision Screening Certificate (Georgia Form 3300)<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Current GA milestones, ITBS, MAP, STAR, or other National Norm testing results. Note:<\/strong> not required for KG-3rd grades. <\/span>(If not available, the student will be tested by Amana prior to placement)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Copy of most recent Report Card. Note:<\/strong> not required for KG.<\/span> (If coming from a non-Fulton County Public School, a final report card showing promotion will also be required at the end of the school year).<\/span><\/i><\/li>\r\n\t
  • If your child has received any special services, please provide copies of paperwork (IEP, 504, Gifted)<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
  • Two current forms of proof of residence (Appropriate records for verification of residency must include any <\/span>two<\/i><\/b> of the following in the name of parent:<\/span>\r\n
      \r\n\t
    • Either <\/span>one<\/i><\/b> current Water Utility Bill OR one<\/em><\/strong> Electric Utility Bill<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
    • One current proof of residence (this can include any <\/span>one <\/i><\/b>of these:<\/span>\r\n
        \r\n\t
      • Home mortgage bill<\/li>\r\n\t
      • Valid and current state driver's license\/ID<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Home sales contract<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Section 8\/HUD housing contract<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Homeowner's\/renter's insurance card<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Bank statement<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Paycheck stub<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • Apartment\/house lease<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t
      • HOA bill\/statement<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
