We\u2019ll be competing in a 2 mile race (girls and boys competing separately) at meets across Georgia. Practices will be held on Mondays and Thursdays at 3:50pm, behind the Amana gym, and the team will then head to Wills Park. Practices will include a team warm-up<strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Skills Gained:<\/strong> Students will develop speed, strength &amp; endurance throughout the season. By the end of the season, students should be able to comfortably run 3 miles, improve their time for the 2-mile event, and have a better sense of pacing while running.
